I purchased two Royal Opera House (ROH) tickets not realising I was not on their site. When I saw from the confirmation it was a 3rd party seller, I asked withing 5 minutes of making the purchase to cancel and get a refund. Viagogo refused, saying sales are final. The confirmation does not include seat location or ticket face value. I checked the ROH website, ticket conditions which states that tickets via unauthorised sellers, such as Viagogo are invalid. The tickets arrived after 25 days, face value £29.00 each, Viagogo charge £240.33. I visited ROH who confirmed that they are invalid per their Terms and Conditions. I have sent some 40+ emails to Viagogo, including to the American CEO and his UK partner based in Manchester, only receiving auto-replies. I have contacted my bank and made a complaint via Action Fraud.
