[LAPSED] 6 1st class stamps for compensation for a mislaid/stolen parcel worth £95.00

Complaint against Royal Mail

my son sold his ps3 on ebay for £95 including P&P to put towards a ps4 the parcel was sent via 1st class post but never arrived with the buyer who has been given a full refund by ebay who are now charging me for that amount , after the royal mail investigating this they sent a letter today saying they are sorry & don't know where the parcel is and blamed huge volumes of mail and pointed out that this can sometimes happen as letters & parcels can be mislaid but because of the service we used it only warranted 6 1st class stamps as compensation. the parcel was a big box weighing just over 4 kg
