Complaint against River Island
I am a regular customer at River Island. I shop there weekly for myself and my three children, spending a lot of money. I visited the Bury St Edmunds store today looking to purchase two new coats. I found two that I liked however one I could only see a size 16. I took the coat to the shop assistant (a young girl standing talking to the male sales assistant behind the till) I asked if they had the coat in a 6 or an 8, after looking on the tablet she said "yeh there's a 6 on shop floor somewhere, if you look around you might find it!" At no point did she or the male assistant offer to help and they continued to chat! I find this disgusting, I walked out and spent £250 on two coats in Topshop, perhaps not big money to you but like I said I regularly spend a lot of money in River Island which I will now not do.
