I have purchased a smart phone from Amazon.Their deliveries are outsourced to DHL. On 3 August I found a card in my porch from DHL saying they had called at12.40. We were at home at 12.40 and no one had tried to ring the bell as we would have heard it. It is clear that the driver was not interested in actually making the delivery. This is not the first time I have had such a problem with them. I now have to contact DHL by going onto their website. Then I must download their app which I do not want and agree their lengthy terms which I do not want to do. I cannot call them or contact them otherwise. The savings by buying from Amazon are not worth this amount of bother and I will not buy expensive items from them in future.
