Complaint against Argos
I ordered a toy for my daughter, when opened the box, we saw a kitchen storage set. Contacted Argos the same day, agreed on them collecting the wrong item and bringing us toy on the following Monday(last week). Nobody came that day. Tried contacting them again on Tuesday, first by phoning them. They couldn't be reached, so I decided to write an e-mail asking to be refunded for they mistake. In the e-mail I stated that they are welcome to collect the wrong item, but they have to give me the exact time when they will be coming to get it, as I can't just sit around the house for nothing. They responded by saying that they can only tell me the day not the time. Usually my girlfriend was home but now she has so much to do that there is now way she can stay home for a whole day. So right now I have to decide between sitting home all day and loosing my wage (around 60 pounds a day after taxes) or not getting my 14 pounds back from Argos. How convenient for them. Tried to get in touch with them today and yesterday, but after waiting over 40 mins both days their lines closed as it was after 8pm. Worst costumer services ever.
