Exploding iron, scarred hand

Complaint against Russell Hobbs

The iron exploded in my hand burning it. Russell Hobbs have been slow in responding to any queries and this has been ongoing for nearly 4 months. They knew of this defective product for over 18 months and never recalled.

I have attempted to contact Russell Hobbs from last November. I finally got a response yesterday offering a £150 voucher. To me, for permanent scarring and Russell Hobbs knowing this issue for 18 months prior this is completely unacceptable offer.
