Miss sold warranty retailer and warranty in dispute over fault with leather suite

I bought a high quality settee and chairs from SCS in November 2014 and noticed a year later that the leather had gone baggy. I purchased an extended warranty which is not worth the paper it is written on. Castelan sent a technician and confirmed puddling of leather due to poor hide selection and that the repair needs to be made to the foam cushions. SCS then sent their technician through Homeserve (UK general) who explained that the puddling was in tolerance whatever this means? Nothing wrong with hide selection or cushions, should look after settee as directed by the retailer. I feel that I was miss sold the product as I was not told this when purchasing the suite and that the warranty was worthless as I already have accidental damage through my home insurance. I feel that the retailer should take responsibility for this and do something to make good a very expensive suite. Please advise
