Complaint against ScS

I bought a carpet for my lounge and hall from scs in January this year. I asked instore for one that wouldn't show tread marks too much or look like a lawn thats been cut after hoovering. However, when it was fitted it showed these marks really really badly. Then I immediately noticed a darker area right infront of my chair so I contacted scs. Someone came out and was quite unpleasant and said it was "tv shuffle"!!!!!!! The carpet hadnt been down for 3 months and it was extremely good quality costing nearly a thousand pounds! I always have either slippers on or shoe covers and only myself in the house.I wasnt happy so he said he would arrange for the manufacturer to look at it. Had a letter saying i would hear within 3-5 days. Didn't. Rang them on 18th April at head office and they said i would hear by the end of the week. Didn't. Rang again on 25th April and again said i would hear within a few days. Didn't. Emailed them on 27th giving them until Friday before I contacted Trading Standards. Nothing. Rang local office on 3rd May, promised an email, Nothing. I was given a really long website link from cit.advice place but it seems it has to be an online purchase. I just want someone to deal with this for me as ive had enough! Help! Janet
