We ordered a kitchen from B&Q and after many return visited for substandard items that had been delivered or items that had not been ordered though instructed, it came to a head with damaged work tops. Our fitters were waiting to do the job and we ended up again at B&Q with the store manager who instructed us to tell the fitter to put the substandard worktops on whilst the correct ones where delivered and we asked who would be covering the additional cost. Not once but 3-4 times the manager stated that B & Q would cover all additional costs re fitting the worktops and subsequent appliances so my mother in law could use her kitchen. Since this time I have contacted the store and now they are saying that they will only pay £200.00 which is store policy, at no time did the manager state this to us and to do all the additional fitting and unfitting came to a total of £650.00. They have stated that they will give a £50.00 store card also, to which we will not use as we would rather go elsewhere. They have broken their agreement with us. I have a 10 page document of errors that have happened (diary as such) and also names dates of people i have spoke to. Though the regional manager has refused to meet with myself and my husband. They are just brushing us off now
