Complaint against GoGroopie

I ordered a couch from Go Groopie website using a so called voucher & received an e-mail from them claiming my voucher had been redeemed successfully & to allow 2/3 weeks for delivery. I waited 4 weeks before contacting Go Groopie to find out where my order was & was told they would contact the “merchant” but that they had to allow them up to 7 days to respond. A week passed & still nothing so I contacted them again and asked for a refund to be told I would have to wait as they had to allow the merchant the chance to respond and to let me know whether they were still in possession of my item. To which I stated clearly they never had any intention of sending my item as it clearly did not exist! They took my money straight away then I never heard anything from them whatsoever no confirmation email, nothing! It was then I began to think that it was Go Groopie itself who were the scammers as there was no information given anywhere regarding the merchant I purchased from simply their name that was all! No contact details. So I googled them and sure enough found hundreds of other people who had been scammed out of their money too by Go Groopie. I am appalled that they are still trading! They need to be shut down immediately and made to give back all the money they have stolen from people!
