[LAPSED] phone not working /was told my fault

Complaint against CeX

I am experiencing the following issue: i got a htcdesire from cex chesterfield store it said it was open to all networks when i got it home the phone was flat so i full charged it and once it was full put my ee sim in it but the phone was saying 3 network so today thursday i returned to the shop were i was told they would do a check on the phone when i retured about an hour later was told the phone was falty and that i had broken some prongs in the phone and taken it apart and they told me that i could not have a refumd or a replacement due to it being my fault this is not the case i only fully charged the phone and put the sim in the staff at the shop are not helpful in any way and very abrupet i would like to get this matter resolved thankyou nathan. To action this I would like you to i would like cex to replace the phone with a phone that is on ee or all net works and one that is the same price i bought this one for

Dear Nathan, Thank you for highlighting this matter. I understand your concern however after receiving your email, we had investigated the issue thoroughly with the management of the store. Unfortunately due to the physical damage we will not be able to cover it under our warranty returns policy and I see that we had explained it in our emails sent to you.Regards,Supriya
