Complaint against Harveys Furniture
Ordered two 3 seater sofas in September and was due delivery on 7th December, therefore 3 months waiting time. Received a call a week before the 7th to pay for the sofa as i had only put a deposit down. On the 7th i receiving a call saying that the sofa can not be found and will contact me back in regards to the sofas. Receive a text message after a week later saying to call to arrange delivery. Arranged delivery for Friday 16th. On friday receive a call saying my sofa could not be found and will call me back in two days. Get a call back in two days and still my sofas have not been found. So i get a call back after another two days and get told my sofa has been found but will be delivered after Christmas on the 28th. The company guarantees delivery before Christmas how can they make such claims when they can't keep up with their promises. Waited 3 months for a sofa then another month in delay and then the sofa will be delivered after Christmas. Ruined my Christmas and wasted four months of my time when I could have went to another sofa store and would have got my sofas by now. Customer services and the branch told me i will receive 20% compensation for the delay now after they have found my sofa they say i will only receive 10%. What a joke of a company, cannot stick to their words. DO NOT SHOP IN HARVEYS, YOU'LL ONLY RECEIVE UNNECESSARY STRESS AND NO SATISFACTION OF YOUR PRODUCT. I was planning to buy another set of sofas and more products for my other room but never will i shop in harveys after this experience. The worst experience in my life, a waste of time, very disgusted with their service and no effort and progess in finding my sofa. All i can say is do not shop from harveys, wasted four months of my time and ruined my Christmas and will only get £80 back what am i going to do with that joke of a company.
