Complaint against Harveys Furniture
I bought a leather suite of furniture at Harvey’s York store in April 2018. I waited 3 months for delivery and when it arrived it was damaged. I contacted customer services immediately- it took over an hour to get through! Another 3 months later I received a replacement. This one is faulty- the arm rest on the chair is not filled correctly causing unsightly creasing , the seat cushion is bubbling and creasing badly. This was apparent on delivery. I took photographs. Again I tried to contact customer services immediately - another long wait on hold! They do not return calls when they say they will and they take far too long replying to emails. I paid £1250 for this furniture and I am extremely disappointed - It seems Harvey’s are not interested in the customer once payment has been made! Despite the photographs, Harvey’s say these are not ‘manufacturing faults’. They do not accept any responsibility and offer no solution! I will not buy anything again from this company and do not recommend them in any way!
