Awful company - do not buy from Harveys!!

Complaint against Harveys Furniture

Sofa took ~5 months to deliver. I ordered a sofa 1st January being told I had 12-14weeks until delivery. On 27th February I received a message saying Harveys expected the sofa delivery, so I called Harveys, waited on hold for 30mins and booked my delivery for 21st March, then a few days before its due to arrive (whilst I’m out of the country and gave away my own sofa), this was then cancelled. I called and rescheduled delivery for 26th April. I then receive another voicemail saying the delivery has been cancelled, again, yet at the end of March I receive a number of texts saying all is ‘on track’ and by end of March it was supposedly in the warehouse again, and that Harvey’s would try to call me (message dated 31st March), they did not. On 3rd May I called Harveys again, the Harvey’s representative said the system shows it was available in the warehouse but that actually it should not be available so she would check the system and call me back...I received no call. On the 10th May I called again and managed to book delivery, again, for 20th May, the day has finally come, albeit I have lost 3 annual leave days so that I could be home for the planned delivery days, we have been sat on the floor for almost 9 weeks, and waited ~5 months for a sofa delivery with no effort made by Harveys as every time I as the customer had to call and wait on hold. Terrible customer service. Very much regret ordering from Harveys. Have recommended all friends and family to avoid them at all costs.
