Complaint against Harveys Furniture
It seems as if we are not the only ones that has had trouble with Harveys. We ordered a Fenwick Relaxer Chair, it arrived by carrier and we had to put it together, on doing this we discovered that one of the wooden legs was damaged, my husband went to the shop and asked if he could have the leg off the show model. He was told "no sir it is a show model", I am not allowed to do that. OK, so there has to be rules and the shop assistant has to follow these. He got on to customer services, and we were promised a leg and also when we were putting together the foot stool that had four wooden legs, there were only 3 plates to attach the 4 legs!!! We were promised this in 72 hours, I then had a call from the store to say that it would be more than 72 hours as there supplier was shut at the weekend. Here we are 1 week and 2 days later and no leg or plate and no contact from Customer Services, another phone call and still we do not know when we are getting it. What terrible after service, feel like taking the chair back and demanding our money back.
