Complaint against Harveys Furniture
Ordered a corner sofa and was told it would be delivered today (12th December) between 7am and 1pm so took day off work to be in for delivery. At 11.15 got a phone call to say that the lorry had broken down (a pitiful excuse) having read the latest complaints about deliveries and shipments being stuck at sea!! They are now supposedly delivering it tomorrow which means another day having to stay in, despite the fact they originally said they don't deliver on Tuesdays!! It cost me £60 delivery plus a days lost wages and I am not at all happy. I think the very least that harveys can do is reimburse the delivery charge.Also I might add that the staff in the Clifton Moor store need a lesson in customer service as two people that attended to me either didn't have a clue how to place an order or were rude.
