Complaint against Harveys Furniture
I placed an order (dining table and chairs) on line on the 10th of January 2016. Harveys Furniture arranged a delivery on the 15th of June. I was given a morning slot, took a day off from work. However, Harveys failed to deliver my furniture. When I contacted the UK exclusive delivery I was told that there were parking restrictions on my road so the driver could not deliver it. Harveys Furniture state on their website that the customers are given a call two hours before they deliver slot. No one has contacted me so I was not sure if they were going to make a delivery on that day. I have sent numerous emails to the complaint department, no one has got back to me. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service, I always found them very rude, ill informed and useless. They can't answer a single question and when you request to speak to someone senior/manager they always put you on hold and say the manager is busy right now. I have been waiting for my furniture to be delivered for 9 months and I am very frustrated with Harveys Furniture. If I had known that I would have to go through this hassle I would not have ordered anything from them. Harveys Furniture is the most inefficient and unreliable company that I have come across. Small companies like Argos has better customer service and efficiency than Harveys.
