Complaint against Harveys Furniture
We purchased a table and six chairs from Harveys Nottingham and at the time thought the service and quality of the furniture had been great, however, 18 months on we have realised that the customer service received at the time of purchasing this table and chair set appears to have been misleading, and information was given to us as a sales technique and the insurance sold was totally misleading too. Having had discussions with Harveys, Guardsman insurance and the Ombudsman, it appears that Harveys are protected by the law and are allowed to do this to us. I have therefore given up and it would appear that the poor quality table and chairs must remain for now until we can replace them with a better quality. They were not Cheap! The response from Harvey's was relayed in a 'couldn't care less' way and from the wording of this response, they basically seemed to enjoy telling me that I had to 'prove it'. I am so upset that a table we have paid an extensive amount for is so unprotected against the advice we were given. I would never buy from Harveys again!!!!
