Complaint against Harveys Furniture
I have a suite I got sometime ago, through wear and tear the cables to work the footrests have broken, I contacted Harvey;s to ask if they could supply me with new one's and I would cover the cost. Harvey's asked for my account number, which I gave, they phoned and spoke to my wife and told her as the warranty had expired a few month previous there was nothing they could do. I emailed them again to enquire why, as it appears if the warranty was still in effect they could supply the cables,but as it isn't, they can't , but I've not had an explanation, they told me to contact a service company ,who could supply them, I did this, but they don,t. I contacted Harvey,s again to explain, I had two emails from two different people, two minutes apart wanting my order details again, which I did, to both, I haven't had any reply since. I have constantly made it clear I don't expect the cables for nothing, I have been willing to pay for them. I can't thinks why it's such a problem, they obviously have them available to manufacture the suite's in the first place, and to replace them under warranty,it doesn't take much to let me know the cost and put them in the post.
