Complaint against Hotpoint

I have one of the faulty machines i registered it the beginning of december to get an email for an engineer to come out in april, then last thursday my tumble dryer started to smoke so i turned it straight off when i turned it on i now have the empty tank light on when the tank is all empty i phone them up to be told i eas due to he repair this month and that he will put it through quicker and i will get a call didnt give a time for when they would so i said will they call in 24/48hours he said no 4/8 days. So i have since thought about that im not happy having the dryer fixed when i have 2 young children and a 8 week old baby so call them today to say i wanted it changed they thats fine but want a payment of £99 pounds off me i said no my dryers is only 14months old they said they couldnt do anything i am really unhappy with the customer service i got they was not helpful or understanding at all i will ringing trading standards as it is not my fault the dryer is faulty and i dont feel safe having it repaired when i have a young family
