Complaint against Hotpoint
They sent me a email stating that they could not repair my dryer till November 2016 BUT with a good will they could give me a brand new one for £60.00. (looking on here it seam that a lot have got it for FREE) I could not wait any longer so went for the offer. They said that they would Install the new one and disconect the old and take away. They phoned me on my mobile and ask a lot off questions etc, they then said they would be here 10am to 12am and for me to disconnect the old one and get it ready for the man. I had to go out on the day they was comming but my wife was here for them coming. When I got home I said did they come? she said yes but they have not done anything. they have taking the old one and just left the old one in the middle of the room. I said why have they done that? they said that they could not get at the plug to fit it. Which was not correct all they had to do was thread it at the back of the washing machine then into the plug. They did NOT have to touch the washing machine at all. I thought it was a law that all electrical goods ahd to be tested befor left with customer. We have not got a dryer now and can NEVER get old of any one at hotpoint to put this right. We are both old age pensioners what can we do to get this put right?
