Faulty replacement tumble dryer

Complaint against Hotpoint

We had one of the faulty indesit tumble dryers which was under a year old ,after months of waiting for a repair we paid money to have a replacement which we received in September 2016. Now January 2018 this machine has an intermittent fault. Sometimes it will start and then during the drying cycle it stops. Other times it won't start and makes a ticking noise. There is a burning smell so am not using it. Apparently I have to pay for an engineer and to have it fixed. We will never buy a whirlpool product again as obliviously are not fit for purpose.
