Faulty Tumble drier, not being replaced like for like

Complaint against Hotpoint

I have one of the fire risk tumble driers and I am awaiting a repair which I don't want. I have not used the dryer since I became aware of the problem several months ago and I would not trust a repair on it. They have said i can BUY a replacement at a discounted price. I have heard lots of people getting these replaced for free but accept that as my machine is around 6 years old that I will have to pay. However they are telling me that not only am i being discriminated against and being made to pay for my replacement but I MUST have a white replacement when all my kitchen appliances, including this faulty dryer are black, something which I've already paid extra money for. Why do I have to accept a different colour ? Well their answer is "you just do" It's disgusting !!!!!!!!
