Complaint against Hotpoint

I purchased hotpoint condenser dryer in oct 2014 was contacted by hotpoint about 6-8 months later by letter to say it may be one of the models effected which i found out to be effected after going on the hotpoint website to inform them of my model number an series number. got email to say it would take up to 12 weeks to be resolved by engineer modification. months passed heard nothing from hotpoint so i contacted them again in june 2016 got email to say my complaint would be passed to customer service still no contact from them. my tumble dryer is now over 2 years old i did take out extended warranty from they are quick at contacting me to get more money but I've been sitting with a faulty fire hazard in my home for over 2 years. APPALLING company to deal with
