Hotpoint charging for replacements.

Complaint against Hotpoint

I have contacted Hotpoint and said I do not want my tumble dryer modified, neither di I see why I should pay for a replacement. They have. Now told me that the replacement costs is towards the delivery. The taking away of the old product and the installation of the new one. I asked them if they deliver to the same address either o e why are they then charging £40 more for one than the other. All I keep getting is that one is a condenser and one is vented. I told them I am quite capable of plugging it in so take that cost off. Also why charge for delivery when most retailers now give free delivery. NO joy. Just monotonous replies all the time.
