Complaint against Hotpoint

I have got in touch with Hotpoint regards to my faulty tumble dryer and they gave me a date of March 2017 that's a year away or they offered me a replacement at a cost of £99 which I think is discusting I have sent 2 further emails to complain about the time factor and the charge and they have not even got back in contact with me I've heard nothing I've also tried phoning but can only get hold of people that can't answer your questions one man I spoke to after me telling him my friends tumble dryer burst into flames and set fire to her garage his reply to me was "that's not going to happen to you" how can he say that? I keep trying to get in contact with someone who can give me answers but they are not interested At the end of the day they sold products that were not fit for purpose they need to replace these faulty products it's not the consumers fault I brought this product in good faith
