[RESOLVED] - Mine was on the list as at risk of fire last December told in Feb down for engineer in August 2016

Complaint against Hotpoint

Received a letter last December told to phone giving my Model No etc mine was on the list. When I had not heard anything by February told I was down for repair/Modification in August 2016 in another phone call told as my dryer was only 6 months old in Dec 2015 I was entitled to a replacement since then I have been told that was incorrect information. Presume I am still down for August which is really inconvenient now cannot get through and have not had any replies to e/mails so have nothing in writing about my modification so I am expected to wait in all August just in case the engineer comes and if no one comes what happens then? I have no proof that someone was coming anyway!

Hotpoint phone on Saturday I have been given a date for the engineer for the beginning of April but also someone should contact me today 21st March to show me a choice of what I could have as a replacement so my complaint is now closed as long as what is offered is acceptable.
