Complaint against Hotpoint

Having received letter from hotpoint telling me my tumble dryer was one of the faulty ones I logged a fault in January 2016, heard nothing, logged another fault in March 2016, heard nothing, emailed in April and received a call telling me that machine would be replaced free of charge. next call would be organising replacement. heard nothing!!! called again today to be told that unless my appliance had caught fire I could not have a replacement....therefore had been lied to... secondly told that I was not on their system as having logged two faults..... thirdly was kept waiting while young lady went backwards and forwards to supervisor to check what to do - why the hell did the supervisor not come and speak to me as I was clearly very annoyed. Great support for their staff... NOT!. Said I could pay 70% of cost of new one which I agreed to do for £99...looked up model number and cost was £199.. so that is 50% not 70%.. when questioned operator said oh well it is definitely £99.... another lie.... finally said a new one would be delivered on 3.5.16... disgusted with customer service and will NEVER buy a hotpoint product again..I should NOT have to pay for a replacement once I have been told I will get one ... do I have to have my house burnt down before they will authorise a replacement?!!!! shame on you hotpoint....
