Complaint against Hotpoint
I had my tumble dryer for 2 years which i had a replacement costing £59.00. The new tumble dryer has broken down after 2 weeks of having it. I contacted hotpoint and told them, as i was in my 28 days of purchase i was within my rights to return the product as it was faulty. Hotpoint have told me i have to have an engineer out to determine if it is a manufacturer fault, i can then refuse the repair, to have a replacement tumble dryer or a refund of £59.00. I was furious, as i am not at fault with hotpoints dangerous tumble dryers, as i paid £200 for my dryer 2 years ago and then a further £59.00 for a replacement. The engineer has been out and i am now being passed from pillow to post, department to department as to where i now stand.
