As my previous model tumble dryer was one that needed a repair, I accepted the offer of a replacement condenser dryer at £99. The order was placed 25th March, reference TD787689 and was delivered on time. It is only now that I'm needing to use the dryer that I find it to be extremely poor in performance. My usual load that would take 50-60 minutes to dry is now taking 90 minutes and sometimes a further 30 minutes. I expected the replacement model to be at least the same specification of the older dryer and I am not at all happy with this new purchase. I emailed Hotpoint on 9.7.16 to reject the dryer as it is unfit for purpose and requested they supply a dryer equal to the performance of the model that was replaced. I emailed all this information to Hotpoint on 9.7.16 and received an immediate delivery receipt from them but have heard nothing back since.
