Complaint against Hotpoint
After waiting a year for modifications to be done to my old tumble dryer i decided the best course of action was to buy a new one through whirpool e mail for cost of 49 pounds. Yesterday after having the new machine for three weeks i smelt burning opened the dryer to see smoke coming from the inside. Suitably shocked i then rang hotpoint. After being on phone for half hour they are sending an engineer out .I think this is disgusting i do not want this three week old tumble dryer repaired i have no confidence in the brand anymore.I want my money back and compensation for the original tumble dryer that i had to give them to get the new one .Its disgusting as it was smoking how can i ever have confidence in this dryer again and only three weeks old ?
