Complaint against Hotpoint

We have a Hotpoint washing machine model 45547. This is covered by Domestic and General Insurance, for which we pay monthly. We had to call an engineer out to repair the machine on Friday 4th Nov, when a Hotpoint engineer said the machine just needed re-balancing, even though I told him the spin cycle made a horrific noise and there were dirty streaks left on clothes after washing. He advised me to put machine on very hot wash and it would be fine. It was not fine and the noise was even worse after he left. I phoned Domestic & General again on Saturday morning and requested another repair to the machine. An engineer called yesterday and said that a new tank is required. We have now been informed the parts could take up to a week to arrive as they are out of stock and then an engineer will have to come out when one is available. I feel this is totally unacceptable service and feel very let down by Hotpoint and Domestic and General Insurance company. We requested a new machine but was told this was not possible as it would be fixed, but I feel that a possible 3 or 4 week wait is too long to be without a washing machine for a family. I would like to lodge a complaint
