Y am i bein asked to pay £99 for a replmnt whn i have already paid for a dryr few years ago

Rung hotpoint thy wrnt very helpful kept giving me different numbers to call, gt thru to live chat asked y i shud b paying for a replacement dryer which has rubbish reviews also explained i cant afford to pay for a replacement and didn't want modification because wudnt feel safe, asked for a free replacement preferably similar one as the one i have, after to days of trying to talk to management was told by someone at live chat it wasn't possible to talk to management and sorry but nothing thy can do except pay for replacement.
