Complaint against Wowcher

I was sent a voucher by a friend, I redeemed the voucher on 24th April, the received an email to say that delivery was up to 10 days. Over 10 days went by and still no product, so I emailed Wowcher explain what I have said about. After another 2 days I received an email to say that the delivery timeframe was up to 10 days and if I didn't receive the product then I should email the merchant directly. I felt that that this response was shocking given that clearly my email had not been read, I know that it was not read because if they had read it then they would have know that I already knew the timeframe for delivery and my reason for contacting them was because that timeframe had passed. I was also angry that I was being told to go and chase the merchant up myself, my "contract" so to speak was with Wowcher, why should I have to go and email their client. I sent Wowcher an email saying what I have just outlined to you in this message and I also Tweeted about this, it was only after my Tweet that they seemed to start doing anything. I received an message / email from the person who looks after the Wowcher Twitter account to say that he had emailed the merchant directly and that they allow 72 hours for them to respond. 72 hours came and went with no response so I had to email Wowcher again, note that I had to email Wowcher, and said that unless I received an response in 24 hours I would take this further. All I've been offered is a refund £6 which is not satisfactory given the time I have had to spend on this and the absolutely useless customer service. Why have I had to do most of the work on this, they are so quick to accept money but when it comes to delivering the service they don't seem to are. I hope you can get a better resolution on this.
