Gordon Adams: 1/5 Stars 01/11/2018 Easylife ignored my cancellation instruction I was cold-called on Sept 18 by Easylife offering a £10 voucher for having a 14-day trial of their "Supercard". They said I could cancel within the 14 day period and there would be no charge. I accepted this at face value, but when I saw that the card was just a con to get my bank details I emailed them to cancel. My email was on day 6 of the trial, and they sent a response saying they would call me. They didn't, so I called them and the woman said she would make sure it was cancelled. Obviously she didn't, and a month later I was charged £69 - they must have got my credit card details from a purchase I'd made, months prior. Since then I have found countless reports on consumer websites saying the same trick had been pulled on them. Can't they be stopped. Easylife has not yet responded. Winifred Slack: 1/5 Stars 23/01/2018 Easy life motor club scam After ordering goods from easylife I found I was enrolled in their motor club without agreeing to this .On 30th of December 2017 I received a letter stating my trial period would run out on 28th of December and if I did not cancel by 28th Dec they would take £59.99 out of my bank account. I rang to cancel on 2nd of January the first chance I had after the bank holiday but they had already taken £59.99 from my account plus £1.99 earlier. Despite several phone calls and a letter I have been unable to get a refund. I tried to email easylife but the email was returned "undelivered". When you ring various numbers you only get through to a call centre who say they will pass the message on and get someone to ring but no one ever does. Easylife has not yet responded.
