Failure to deliver two sofas on Friday November 13th.

Complaint against Oak Furniture Land

Text with delivery 4 hour slot received on Thursday 12th we got rid of our existing lounge furniture on 11th! Phone call received on Friday morning stating system problems and cannot now deliver until Monday 23rd over a week later!!! Did not speak to them myself my husband did and he was not impressed as he had waited in for the delivery. A vague offer was made to refund the express delivery fee but no information was given on how this would happen...already comp!ained to customer service about the fee as we were told by the salesman that delivery was free....apparently it is not if you select your own delivery date!! This needs to be made clear at the point of sale. Why is it taking over a week to make the delivery following the failure? What am I supposed to sit on meanwhile? Refund of delivery fee not good enough to cover the failings.
