Exploding glass mugs, but we lost receipt so won't do anything!!!

Complaint against The Range

Purchased 4 glass tea mugs 17/12/16, using one today it exploded showering glass and hot water everywhere, just took them back but they didn't want to know as we didn't have receipt!! Told them exact time, till and what else we bought at same time but all they wanted to know was did we pay by cash or card so they could trace transaction

The RANGE has very poor customer service as I have found. They have a standard line they follow nothing flexible. You will not get them to do anything. this attitude of we are not budging is across the whole of customer services. good luck
