Ordered curtains for next day delivery - failed to arrive
Complaint against The Range
Ordered a pair of curtains and paid extra for next day delivery. Received an email on delivery day saying the item had been dispatched and giving a Royal Mail tracking number. The tracking number didn't work so I phoned The Range to find out what what had gone wrong. The operator said they would need to contact the warehouse and get back to me. They didn't make any attempt to contact me. I phoned again at 6.20pm when the curtains still hadn't arrived. They referred to their notes from my earlier call and said that they had contacted the warehouse but hadn't received a response yet. I said I wasn't satisfied because I had paid for next day delivery. They offered to refund the difference in cost of next day delivery and standard post but couldn't say if or when I was likely to receive my order.
