Complaint against The Range
I saw a BBQ in my local range store and tried to purchase, turns out they didn't have any in stock but the assistant advised they could order in or order on line as this would be quicker, taking her advise i ordered the product online and was advise my lead time would be the following week and i would receive a confirmation email, this never came but when i spoke to the range they advised of a warehouse fire with the delivery company but my order was ok and would be delivered on Saturday between 8AM-10AM, but nothing arrived, when i called the haulage company Arrow XL they advised it had been sent out, then put on hold and told it was missed off the lorry, then told it was never sent to them. called the range they advised they would start an investigation after 3 phone calls of complaints where the staff were rude and unhelpful, after numerous phone call and emails to which i never received a response, i was advised my order was lost and i would receive a refund and they were sorry for the situation but if i wanted the BBQ still i could collect from my "local" store 30 miles away, eventually i received an email offering me a £20 voucher for my hassle , to which would be sent in the post, once i received this they said they would call me to advise activation, but no one called, i emailed the company as per instructions on the letter to which it took 1 month to respond, all in all worst company i have ever dealt with and i would advise anyone using this company not to unless you want hassle and not to receive your items
