Complaint against Currys PC World
It has come to my attention that a payment of £8.50 has been repeatedly been taken from my account under the heading Product Support AG. I contacted the Natwest Fraud team to try to work out what it was. They suggested I google the number and hey presto, many similar complaints. I wanted to avoid a public issue so called customer support to provide an opportunity to privately resolve but got nowwhere. I asked for proof that I signed up to indefinitely have £8.50 pcm but was told that the call centre can't provide this. I was denied the opportunity to speak to a manager. I received a call the next day to say that I hadn't complained early enough so I won't be having a penny refunded!! Again I asked for proof that I signed up to this and was told I had to email elsewhere and that they could send me the email address. The customer service rep. sent me his own email address! I emailed him again, he apologised and sent another email address, that didn't work either. Curry's have taken quite alot of money from a freelance account I'm trying to close. Feeling let down and ripped off by Curry's. The money should be returned within 24 hours and i should be emailed to have this confirmed. Very, very poor.
