Complaint against Currys PC World

I have just realised that two payments listed as PRODUCT SUPPORT AG 0844 800 6080 GBR are being charged to my credit card every month, the payments being £6.17 & £4.75. I have no idea what these charges are for, the information isn't shown on the credit card statement an I found it was Currys by looking up the data on the internet. I do recall being persuaded to take out something when we last purchased from currys ( an Ipad mini and a Samsung tablet) but I specifically phone currys and cancelled the agreements immediately (within a month of purchase) I do not want or need a support from Currys and want to know what they are for and why they were not cancelled after I phoned to do so. I can only see statements back to June and the charges are showing on that statement

Thanks Trevor. I have just arranged for both these agreements to be cancelled, you will also receive written confirmation of this action in the post in the next 21 days. Whilst you are outside the 28 days grace to be able to refund the cover, I have also processed reimbursement of the last payment on each agreement as a goodwill gesture of goodwill. Thanks for getting back to me Trevor. I can confirm that the product supports referred to the Apple iPad and Samsung tablet you purchased on the 29th May 2016. My apologies but as I cannot locate a record of any prior contact with us to cancel these agreements, I can only refund the last payment taken.- Marcus

Call that Customer Care, I suggest Currys get some training in the art of Customer Care rather than focus on taking money
