Complaint against Currys PC World
I want to express my disappointment and frustration around my recent and continuing experience with the Knowhow team that have been dealing with my dishwasher repair. I also need assurances and a guarantee that this will be fixed before the Christmas break or escalation to someone that can help me. I booked a callout under my Knowhow Policy on 10th December for 14th December Engineer Visit., a day before I got the text message informing me that the 4 hour slot would be 12:40-16:40. I waited until 16.45, no phone call from the engineer, so I tried to get hold of customer services, was told 50 minute wait! So I emailed [email protected] and was given an automated reply and reference number CSUP3598523CR. 7 days later… still no response to my email! It does not stop there… The engineer finally called at 16.55, said he would be with me by 18:00. He did arrive and after a lot of huffing and puffing, said I needed several new parts. He moaned about the fact it was an integrated machine and he should have been advised. He said he would order the necessary parts but needed to come back and fit them another day, we agreed on 19th December. The morning of 19th December came and I got a phone call from the Engineer, parts where faulty and he could not come, needed to reschedule to today 21st. Today I did not receive a ½ hr arrival call prior to them arriving as was promised. I have just had an engineer visit with the new parts only to be told that the “water inlet cover” had not been ordered and I would once again have to be rescheduled for the 4th visit, as he was unable to fix the problem. As you can imagine with Christmas Day only being a few days away and I have many family members to dinner. This is very stressful. I have been advised that the engineer will be back on Friday with the parts and it will all work. I need more reassurance or a back up plan than that to ensure that my dishwasher is working by Friday Evening! I work full-time to scheduling these call outs around work has been difficult. I have shopped with Curry’s for many years and never have I had such an appalling service. I pay a lot of the additional cover and quite frankly I do not think the money paid represents the service delivered! Please escalate this to whoever can provide me with the assurance that this will be fixed on Friday. I have had a lot of inconvenience and goodwill from my place of work in being there for these visits, however I need it fixed. Any help you can give will be much appreciated Karen
