[LAPSED] Charged for product support without consent

Complaint against Currys PC World

I have lost nearly £100 to the currys for unlawfully charging me for product support. I was never told it was an option in store (I would have declined it given my husbands job who would have been able to fix any broken computer) and the 'customer help' said they couldn't refund me! They said I have to go to my bank to claim it back and prove I didn't ask for it while Currys do nothing, refund nothing and don't have to prove they didn't tell me about it. I am outraged at the this snide, underhanded way of stealing money from customers. By the seems of it, many many customers have fallen victim to this scam. I will go to small claims court if I need to.
