Complaint against Currys PC World
I purchased an LG TV from currys and pc world and took their insurance that covers both technical issues and accidental damage. I've, since purchase roughly 7-8 months ago returned the tv due to clouding and WiFi issues. At least 3-4 times. After the third time and was promised that all was fixed, they returned my TV in a damaged state. It was damaged in transit and I was informed of that by them over the phone. When I returned it again for a replacement that I felt was the least I deserved, I was rejected even a repair due to them accusing me of fabricating this story, even though they admitted damage on transit! I then had to send a letter to the head of the claims department who can only be contacted by letter (conveniently) which meant I had to wait a further two weeks for a response which was yet another denial . How they had the audacity to do this, being the big conglomerate that they are, shocked me to say the least. I was then told if I wanted to appeal the decision, I'd have to go through the same means of contact, which would result in waiting a further two weeks, this would be in addition to the 2 months I've currently been waiting... I've visited multiple stores, seen countless managers, logged many complaints and yet, I feel it's all fallen on deaf ears and I'm just a worthless customer in their eyes, who simply isn't worth their time. I mean it's not like I paid almost a thousand pounds for the tv (he said sarcastically)
