Complaint against Currys PC World
I am writing to you to express my absolute disgust for the conduct of your company today. I ordered a cooker to be delivered and paid £75 for instillation. My cooker was delivered but was told when I called that the installer was coming separately. The advisor assured me that the installer was booked. Another call from an advisor to say that “the installer had a family emergency” but there was another team in the area and she would call me back if they were coming- no phone call. I called an hour later to he told my instillation was cancelled by yourselves and rescheduled for tomorrow. I have plans but suggested if you could be more specific with time e.g. 4pm then I could accommodate but this also wasn’t possible. I think it is atrocious that: -you failed to install my cooker having paid £75 for a service you did not deliver on time -I had to wait in all day with a lack of correspondence from your company - I have incurred a high cost in telephone calls due to being kept on hold with no real resolution to my issue -you did not call me back to inform me of the outcome We have no cooker for Christmas and a lack of effort from your poor company to resolve YOUR inability to deliver a service.
