Complaint against Currys PC World

A few months back we went to currys to purchase an iPad for our son in currys, newtownabbey! Upon paying for the product we were asked if we wanted insurance, we said NO! The sales rep then proceeded to tell us the 1st month was gonna be free anyways so might as well take it! Still said NO! She then offered a free case for the iPad plus 1st month free insurance, which we stupidly finally give in to! On checking everything over, she said just remember to cancel the direct debit on it online banking and that will be the end of it.... More lies! Just for the record, I cancelled the direct debit after a couple weeks! I am not one to constantly check every transaction on my statements every month! But did notice a PRODUCT SUPPORT AG on the top of this month's statement! Could not figure out what this was so I googled it! Turns out it was currys lovely fraudulent insurance that failed to cancel! Despite no records or signs of any direct debits or standing orders to them anymore! It's not much money, (£5ish pm) but that is not the point! I feel conned and a bit gutted that this team member had to use such dirty tricks for her to earn a few more £ commission on an insurance sale! Good luck to whoever is gonna feel my wrath when i visit the store in next couple days!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

HI Alanm, thanks for getting in touch. I am sorry to learn that the Product Support Agreement was being taken out of your bank without your knowledge.
