[RESPONDED] Great instore but hidden charges

Complaint against Currys PC World

Bought a new laptop last year, i knew what i wanted so purchased it online to be collected instore. When i collected it i went through the usual stuff with the salesman, told him i didn't need any type of product support yet now i am being charged £7.50 a month for what i assume is some kind of product support. The laptop was also ready setup, something i don't like as you can't change to your own set up. I was told this is how they come, i was unable to change anything on the system as i had no administrator access, an account that should be available for access but whoever set the system up at Currys messed it up so there was no way to access the administrator account. I couldn't even run a reinstall of Windows with no access. A complete format and reinstall by a 3rd party had to be done to correct the mess Currys had left it in.
