[LAPSED] Laptop repair not being honoured

Complaint against Currys PC World

I purchased a “7 day” repair and insurance contract with my new laptop. Unfortunately I dropped the laptop and it broke. I returned the laptop to Curry’s almost three weeks ago and it’s not being repaired, and the status of my repair is “awaiting spares” How can this company take money for a repair contract and not carry spares. I want a replacement laptop if it can’t be fixed-I am currently needing it for study and work and it’s now putting me behind and losing me money. There is no point having an insurance cover if it’s not going to be backed up. Come on Currys, this is shocking :(
