Complaint against Currys PC World

Is this all Currys can do for me? I still can't use my laptop. I need help ? Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for getting in touch with us and supplying your full details so we can look into your issue further. Checking our repair system we don't have a log of your unit being booked in since June 2013. Any store services, which accommodate software issues are fully managed by stores themselves. As such these are not logged on our system, as they are mainly finger fixes that require no parts. With the error messages you have described it sounds like the Window Operating System has been corrupted, to remedy this you would need to do a system recovery. If you use your back up CD/USB from when you initially bought your unit this will wipe it back to factory settings and should resolve the issue. Please do back up all your data before you do this, as it will be wiped clean in the process. Thanks, Georgia

Hi Elizabeth, as we're not technically trained on this department theres only limited advice we can give. If a system recovery doesnt resolve the issue, I would suggest returning it to the store for assistance. My apologies for any upset or inconvenience caused. Thanks, Rach
