Look at the lame response I get back from Currys following my complaint ... Complaint about Currys PC World Is this all Currys can do for me? I still can't use my laptop. I need help ? Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for getting in touch with us and supplying your full details so we can look into your issue further. Checking our repair system we don't have a log of your unit being booked in since June 2013. Any store services, which accommodate software issues are fully managed by stores themselves. As such these are not logged on our system, as they are mainly finger fixes that require no parts. With the error messages you have described it sounds like the Window Operating System has been corrupted, to remedy this you would need to do a system recovery. If you use your back up CD/USB from when you initially bought your unit this will wipe it back to factory settings and should resolve the issue. Please do back up all your data before you do this, as it will be wiped clean in the process. Thanks, Georgia

Hi Rachel I expected an apology and a refund of £60 for wasting my time at your Hayes Branch. I did not expect you to tell me to go back to the branch. If your system does not hold any details of my booking, you should have contacted the Hayes Brach direct with the booking reference I provided. You have already let your customer down once and I did not expect this from Currys. Appaling service.

Yes, you only contacted the Hayes branch following my request via Rachel.Up till then no one bothered to contact them.Myself and your call centre did try but no one is picking the phone.To date no one from Hayes has been in touch.Appalling Customer Relations dept. The only thing that us coming through efficiently is marketing emails from Currys that I've unsubscribed this morning. Disgusting:-(

. I don't think any you apart from the initial person who took the complaint knows what I am going through at the moment. I just lost my Mum. There seems to be no empathy or urgency. I no longer wish to go back to your store in Hayes. I'd rather get some good service elsewhere. Please arrange with the store manager for a refund of the £60 to my account or a cheque. Just a group of time-wasters at CurrysPCWorld. There is no conitinuity on this issue. Each time a different person picks up the message and I feel I'm starting again. This is the most painful complaint I've ever done in my life. Can't believe this is all happening online. Plus on a personal level I'm going through a bereavement as well. To date the branch mgr has not rung me either!
